Designed and implemented a fully redundant network based on a pair of Cisco content switches. The network consisted of 4 Oracle servers running on Solaris, and 32 Oracle Application servers, as well as Linux and Windows servers. The reliability of the network allowed the client to grow their brand and increase sales.
The design was based on a fully redundant, multilayer model. It included the replacement of 18 racks of equipment. Intrusion detection, VPN, and network management were implemented. The new network gave the company the confidence of knowing that they will have access to their trading systems when needed.
The network required the installation of copper and fiber cabling. A complete wireless survey was required to assure complete coverage on four floors. The installation and configuration resulted in high-speed network access throughout the building.
The project required the rebuilding of a data center of a pharmaceutical company with 20 remote offices. A multilayer network was designed and installed with end-to-end redundancy. Firewalls were installed at all sites for sit-to-site IPSec VPNs.
The project required the installation of site-to-site VPNs for a company with 50 locations. Each site received redundant internet connectivity. Two routers were installed at each site to provide redundancy. Dynamic GRE tunnels were created to provide inter-site connectivity for VoIP traffic.
